Retreats

During a forest bathing walk, the guide will offer participants a slow-paced, mindful walk experience to open the senses through a series of nature-connected invitations. Once participants shift from the cognitive thinking mind to an embodied experience, they can connect to the natural world in an authentic and knowing way. 

Throughout her life Mary “pondered” in prayer as to what God was asking of her in her sorrows and sufferings. How do we manage suffering, sorrows, and the puzzling question of “why” in our daily lives? We will look at ways we might strengthen our prayer life in relationship to praying with Mary, Mother of God, and mother of us all.

Tom Campbell has led the last six drumming retreats at Bethany; close to 50 people attended each of the last two years! He has been leading retreats for 35 years, and he has been drumming over 30 years; leading drumming workshops/retreats in homes, churches, community centers and businesses. 

Welcoming Forgiveness.  This retreat will be in silence with extended periods of Centering Prayer.  We will explore the dance between the Welcoming Prayer Practice and Forgiveness.  Soul Friending will be available.  Prior Centering Prayer experience required.
